4、 Precautions for use
Chemical reaction: PAM does not undergo a chemical reaction with the surface of the metal workpiece, but the low molecular weight anion PAM adheres more firmly to the surface of the steel plate. In water treatment processes containing metal fine mesh filters and low-pressure centrifugal equipment, it is advisable to avoid using anionic PAM as much as possible.
Concentration control: It is ideal to control the concentration of PAM at 1-3 ‰. Too low a concentration cannot effectively exert its effect, while too high a concentration may cause the molecular chains to not fully stretch or form a gel, reducing the effectiveness of use.
Usage time: Dissolved PAM should be used as soon as possible. Anionic type should generally not exceed 36 hours, while cationic type is prone to hydrolysis after dissolution and should be used up within 24 hours.
