1. The dosage of polyferric sulfate flocculation treatment should be determined. According to the nature of the raw water, the dosage can be determined by production debugging or beaker test according to the amount of alum flower formation. The water treatment plant can use the original dosage of other drugs as a reference. Under the same conditions, the dosage of this product is roughly equivalent to that of solid polyaluminum chloride, which is 1/3-1/4 of the dosage of solid aluminum sulfate. If the original liquid product is a liquid product, it can be calculated and determined according to the concentration of the corresponding agent. It is roughly determined by the weight ratio of 1:3.
2. Before use, put this product into the alum dissolving pool at a certain concentration (10-30%), inject tap water to stir it to fully hydrolyze it, let it stand until it becomes a reddish-brown liquid, and then dilute it with water to the required concentration and add coagulation. Water plants can also prepare 2-5% and add directly.
3. Industrial wastewater is generally prepared and used on the same day. The preparation requires tap water. A slight sediment is a normal phenomenon. It is reasonable to prepare 5-10% and add directly.
4. Polyferric sulfate should pay attention to the hydraulic conditions and the formation of alum flowers in the three stages of the coagulation process.
(1) Coagulation stage: It is the process of injecting the liquid into the coagulation tank and rapidly coagulating with the raw water to form fine alum flowers in a very short time. At this time, the water body becomes more turbid, which requires the water flow to generate intense turbulence. In the beaker test, it is advisable to stir quickly (250-300 rpm) for 10-30S, generally not more than 2min.
(2) Flocculation stage: It is the process of alum flowers growing and coarsening, requiring appropriate turbulence and sufficient residence time (10-15min). In the later stage, a large amount of alum flowers can be observed to slowly sink and form a clear layer on the surface. The beaker test is first stirred at 150 rpm for about 6 minutes, and then stirred at 60 rpm for about 4 minutes until it is suspended.
(3) Sedimentation stage: Polyferric sulfate is a flocculant sedimentation process carried out in a sedimentation tank, which requires slow water flow. In order to improve efficiency, an inclined tube (plate) sedimentation tank is generally used (it is best to use flocculants separated by flotation). A large amount of coarse alum flowers are blocked by the inclined tube (plate) wall and deposited at the bottom of the tank. The upper water is clear water. The remaining alum flowers with small particle size and low density slowly fall while continuing to collide with each other and grow larger. In the later stage, the residual turbidity is basically unchanged. The beaker test should be stirred slowly at 20-30 rpm for 5 minutes, then settled for 10 minutes, and the residual turbidity is measured.
5. This product is used for environmental protection and industrial wastewater treatment. The application method is basically the same as that of water plants. It is very effective for the treatment of raw water with high chroma, high COD and BOD with the help of additives.
6. Strengthening filtration mainly involves the rational selection of filter layer structure and filter aids to improve the removal rate of the filter pool.
7. For enterprises that use chemical coagulation, the original equipment does not need to be significantly modified, and only needs to add a dissolving alum pool.
8. Polyferric sulfate must be stored in a dry, moisture-proof, and heat-proof place (< 80oC, do not damage the packaging, and the product can be stored for a long time).
