⏳ How to use them correctly?

1. Do not dissolve them simultaneously: Mixing PAC and PAM may cause a reaction, affecting the flocculation effect. They should be prepared as solutions separately and added sequentially.
2. The general order of addition is "PAC first, then PAM": When the turbidity of the wastewater is high or the suspended solids particle size is > 50μm, add PAC first to destabilize the colloids, and then add PAM after about 30 seconds to promote floc growth; if the turbidity is low or the particles are small, consider adding PAM first to assist aggregation, and then adding PAC to stabilize the flocs (experimental verification required).
3. Optimal mixing ratio: Experiments show that when the total dosage is 0.24g/150ml and the PAC:PAM mass ratio is 1:2, the water purification effect is optimal. 4. Control of Influencing Factors:
pH Value: PAC is best suited to pH 5–9;
Temperature: 20–30℃ yields optimal results;
Stirring Intensity: Rapid mixing initially, followed by slow flocculation later to avoid breaking up flocs.
