Non-ionic polyacrylamide produced by Xinhuan Water Treatment is a water-soluble polymer or polyelectrolyte. Since its molecular chain contains a certain number of polar groups, it can adsorb the suspended solid particles in water, make the bridge between the particles or make the particles coalesce to form large flocs through charge neutralisation. Therefore, it can accelerate the settling of particles in suspension, and has the effect of accelerating solution clarification and promoting filtration. Mainly used in various industrial wastewater flocculation and sedimentation, precipitation and clarification treatment. Such as paper and pulp wastewater wastewater treatment, mineral processing and metal smelting process wastewater treatment, steel mills and stone processing plant wastewater treatment.

Uses

Non-ionic polyacrylamide main use:

1、Mainly used in sewage treatment. When the sewage is acidic, it is suitable to use this series of products. It can be used with inorganic flocculant polymeric aluminium chloride and aluminium sulphate.

2、It is used in metallurgical beneficiation, such as manganese ore cleaning and copper ore suspension, the dosage is about 2ppm. it can also be used in the agglomeration of bauxite components.

3、This product can be used as oil field profile control and water shutdown agent by combining with wood fibre.

 

Molecular weight of nonionic polyacrylamide:

1、The dosage should be determined by experiment before use. If the dosage is too little, it will not work. If the dosage is too much, it will react. This is because when PAM exceeds a certain concentration, it cannot flocculate, but disperses and stabilises.

2、Nonionic polyacrylamide As a highly selective flocculant, it is used in low-solid drilling mud containing bentonite, because it can flocculate the drilled cuttings and keep the bentonite in a dispersed state.

3、Lower concentration should be used when dosing to ensure uniform mixing.

4、Nonionic polyacrylamide is a bridge formed by the adsorption of many fine particles or oil droplets in sewage by its polymer long chain. It is a flocculant with strong flocculation ability, and its flocculation speed is faster than anionic PAM. In oilfield wastewater treatment, it is usually used together with aluminium salt.

 

Usage and precautions:

1、non-ionic polyacrylamide can not be directly added to the sewage, it must be dissolved in water before use and treated with its aqueous solution.

2、the water used to dissolve the granular polymer should be clean water (such as tap water), not sewage. Room temperature water can be used, usually without heating. When the water temperature is lower than 5 ℃, the dissolution rate is very slow. As the water temperature rises, the dissolution speed will be accelerated, but above 40 ℃, the degradation speed of nonionic polyacrylamide will be accelerated, thus affecting the use effect. Generally speaking, tap water is suitable for preparing nonionic polyacrylamide solution. Strong acid, strong alkali, high salt water is not suitable for preparation.

3、Fully dissolve. When dissolving, the water should be stirred sufficiently, and then the powder should be added slowly and evenly to prevent large flocs and fish eyes from clogging the pipes and pumps.

4、Stirring speed is generally 200 rpm for not less than 60 minutes. Appropriately increase the water temperature 20-30 ℃, can accelerate the dissolution. The maximum temperature of the liquid should be less than 60 ℃.

5、determine the dosage. The concentration of non-ionic polyacrylamide solution is recommended to be 0.1%-0.3%, i.e., add 0.1g-0.3g of polymer powder to 1 litre of water. Determine the dosage by experiment before use. If the dosage is too small, it will not work. If the dosage is too large, PAM will not flocculate, but disperse and stabilise.

6、Wash the work site with water frequently to keep it clean. Due to the viscosity of PAM, the surface of PAM scattered in the well is smooth when it meets water, which can prevent the operator from slipping and causing safety accidents.
